Apple Bananas from Uganda - are triploid hybrid banana and one of the most common banana that typically reach a height of 10 to 13 feet. They require full or partial sun exposure. The flowers are yellow, purple, or ivory in color. The fruits are round-tipped with thin yellow skin that splits once fully ripe. They are smaller than the Lacatan cultivar and the commercially dominant Cavendish bananas.
They have a slightly acidic, apple-like flavor.
In older classifications, the Latundan cultivar was once the plant referred to as Musa sapientum. It has since been discovered that Musa sapientum is actually a hybrid cultivar of the wild seeded bananas Musa balbisiana and Musa acuminata and not a species.
Latundan bananas are popular dessert bananas. They are also cultivated as ornamental plants.

Fresh fruit and vegetable prices – our global connection - focuses on international influence, through imports and exports.
Fruit and vegetable prices are affected by factors such as temperature, weather, and availability. These factors include: freight costs, growing conditions and weather events overseas, biosecurity issues, and legislation. Fresh fruit and vegetables are a dietary staple for most East Africans.
We live in a country with a variable climate that allows us to produce a wide range of fresh fruit and vegetables during the year for export. With a variety to choose from of good quality.
However, we are also vulnerable to the ways international and domestic factors can affect the export prices paid for year-round supplies of greens and fruits and this gives us the price per unit (generally kilograms).
We make payment possible to account to account, branch, any forex, or mobile money, money online and transfer to our accounts.
